By volunteering at Torbay you join a team of more than 120 people who give their time to serve alongside our 240+ staff. We could not do what we do without our dedicated volunteers. They do make a real difference. You can sign up for a set time each week or fortnight or you may want to join us for a specific project, the decision is yours.

Do you have the heart of a volunteer? Do you want to change someone’s life through a Social Support program? We have a number of residents that would benefit from visits by real people to sit and talk with them or to take them for walks in the grounds. One morning or afternoon per week or fortnight would greatly assist.
We have a very popular coffee shop with an automatic coffee machine (We will train you but it is very simple). We need volunteers to assist in this shop under the guidance of a Convenor and you would be working with another volunteer. Mornings only.
Bus Drivers Available on a regular basis for 2 – 4 hours weekly or fortnightly to take residents for short shopping trips or outings. Car Drivers Available on a regular basis for 2 – 4 hours weekly or fortnightly to take residents for short shopping outings and to escort clients to and from appointments.
