Torbay
Torbay is an established Independent Lifestyle Village situated on 12.13 hectares of landscaped gardens complete with BBQs, picturesque lakes, native wildlife, walkways, shaded sitting areas. Torbay provides peaceful and pleasant surroundings, but also a myriad of activities for our residents to enjoy in their retirement lifestyle!
Our Independent Living Villages cater for various types of accommodation and lifestyle, offering a wide selection of architecturally designed quality brick stand-alone homes.
We take advantage of the superb Hervey Bay climate by utilising the best possible aspects and location. Our homes are both practical and aesthetically pleasing and offered for sale ready to occupy with quality floor coverings and fittings, security screens and doors, ceiling fans throughout and utilise a master key system. Many of our homes also include air-conditioning.
We can offer 1, 2, or 3 bedroom homes with single or double garages, plenty of storage and large patios! Many of our homes also have en-suites and walk-in robes and even a study! The colour schemes are modern and practical in neutral shades, leaving residents to add their own individual touches with their furnishings! Visitors are welcome and may use the Village facilities. In fact, your visitors (including children) are encouraged to maintain their contact with you; we request that any visiting children are always supervised. Pets such as fish and caged small birds are welcome in our villages, subject to management approval and review; however to maintain harmony for our residents, we do not allow cats or dogs, (Assistance animals excepted).
Eligibility
Torbay Lifestyles & Care requires residents to be over 55 years and able to live an independent lifestyle harmoniously with others.
Safety
All our houses have an Emergency Response unit and pendant which is linked to a 24hr monitoring company should you require medical assistance. Hard wired smoke alarms are fitted in every home in line with the current regulations.
Security
Security is paramount and we have state of the art security cameras around the facilities and electronic gates that are accessible 24/7 with your own swipe card. Most gates are fitted with intercom systems to allow you to “buzz in” friends and relatives when the gates are closed.
